Malalei is an accomplished trainee solicitor specialising in family law, immigration, and litigation matters. With a client-centered approach, she works directly with individuals and families during some of their most challenging times, providing valuable legal advice and support that makes a real difference to their lives.
Her role involves attending client meetings, conducting legal research, drafting documents, preparing court bundles, and liaising with courts, counsel, and other parties. Malalei thrives when working on complex cases that require strategic problem-solving and detailed analysis, finding litigation especially rewarding for the opportunity to advocate for her clients and fight for their rights.
In immigration law, Malalei takes pride in helping people at pivotal moments: reuniting families, securing work opportunities, and protecting vulnerable individuals. She values the diversity of her clients and finds satisfaction in ensuring fair access to justice for people from all walks of life.
Malalei holds an LLB Law degree from Coventry University (2016) and completed her LPC with commendation at the University of Law, Birmingham (2017). She brings valuable experience from her four years at Keoghs LLP, where she handled high-volume personal injury claims for defendants, followed by her work at Jackson Solicitors in care proceedings. She has also completed mediation training, earning her certificate in 2023.
Malalei has also volunteered at both Coventry Law Centre and Coventry Refugee Migrant Centre, supporting refugees as they rebuild their lives. She stays current with legal developments through regular webinars and continuing education.
Fluent in Pashto and Dari, Malalei brings valuable linguistic skills to her practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and has a passion for travel, which allows her to immerse herself in new cultures and perspectives.
